Welcome to VettedBuddy — A Personal Note and My Story

Hi, I'm Shivang Sengar. I'm just a normal guy from a lower-middle-class family. Over the last five years, life has taught me lessons that no classroom ever could.

In 2021, after my 10th standard, I had to leave school and start working in a local grocery store. I worked there for almost 10 hours a day, earning around ₹6,000 a month. At that time, my responsibility wasn't just to do a job—it was to help my family however I could.

After two years, I decided to study again. I completed my 12th through private education because I couldn't go back to being a regular student.

Around that time, there was someone who changed the way I looked at life—my best friend. She constantly reminded me that life doesn't change when you give up. It changes when you decide to stand up again. That gave me the confidence to try again.

After my 12th, I prepared for the NDA. I had only two attempts. I failed both. But strangely, I don't consider that year a failure.

That journey taught me discipline, courage, responsibility, ethics, and something even more important—it taught me to believe in myself even when the outcome wasn't in my favor. It also gave me a deep sense of patriotism. I realized that serving my country doesn't always mean wearing a uniform. Sometimes, it means creating opportunities for the people around you. That thought stayed with me.

When I looked back at my own journey, I realized something. There are thousands of talented people in India. People who work hard. People who have incredible skills. But many of them never get the opportunities they deserve. Some struggle financially, some never find the right clients, and some simply don't have anyone who believes in them. I've experienced that feeling myself. And that's exactly why I started building VettedBuddy.
